1967 pontiac gp we have a great looking 1967 pontiac grand prix in stunning red at skyway classics. It sets off the contrasting white top and interior! First introduced as part of pontiac's full-size car model offering for the 1962 model year, the grand prix name was also applied to cars in the personal luxury car market segment and the mid-size car offering from the 2nd generation to the 5th generation for the sedan and from the 2nd generation to the 6th generation from the coupe; it returned to a full-size car from the 6th generation to the 7th generation for the sedan, positioned below the larger bonneville in pontiac's model lineup. The grand prix first appeared in the pontiac line for the 1962 model year, as a performance oriented replacement for the ventura, which became a luxury trim level of the full-size catalina it was essentially a standard catalina coupe with minimal outside chrome trim and a sportier interior (bucket seats and a center console). The performance-minded john de lorean, head of advanced engineering at pontiac, contributed to the development of both the grand prix and the gto. Revised sheetmetal with rounded but even more pronounced coke bottle styling highlighted the 1967 grand prix and other full-sized pontiacs. Also new to the gp were concealed headlights with horizontal mounting (all other full-size '67 pontiacs retained the vertical headlights for one more year), concealed windshield wipers and ventless front windows on hardtop coupes. Out back were louvered taillights similar to those found on the gto. Other changes included a revised instrument panel and door panel trim. The 400 v8s were basically bored out versions of the older 389/421 block but with various internal improvements including bigger valves and improved breathing capabilities. This gp also has air conditioning, ps, pb, a dual master-cylinder braking system and along with spinner hubcaps as well as white stripe tires. Also new for 1967 was an energy-absorbing collapsible steering column. The wrangler is arguably an indirect progression from the world war ii willys mb through the willys civilian jeeps (jeep cj) of the mid-1940s through 1980s that were produced by kaiser-jeep and by american motors corporation (amc). Jeeps have taken over a huge following this decade as more and more people want them as an open air vehicle much like convertibles took over in the 1950's. Features and options include 6-spoke mag wheels on goodyear wrangler tires as well as a fifth wheel and tire as a spare, black soft top, gray interior, automatic, rear seat, digital gauges, and more. Well, because here at skyway classics, we a family owned and operated.

Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new For 1974, a new rear bumper system replaced the squared tail and chrome rear bumper blades introduced in 1968 with a trim, tapering urethane cover carrying an integral license plate holder and recesses for the trademark round taillights. Underneath sat a box-section aluminum impact bar on two Omark-bolt slider brackets similar to the system used in the nose which allowed the Corvette to pass federal five-mph impact tests at the rear as well as the front

History the introduction of the mustang in late 1964 created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including camaro, firebird, cougar and others. The 1966 ford mustang was the highest production mustang in all 53 years it has been in production. The world had caught mustang fever after the introduction of the 1964 1/2 model, and ford was working double time to try and keep up with demand. The factory in dearborn, michigan pumped out a whopping 607,568 mustangs between august of 1965 and july of 1966. That is what we have here, a great 1965 ford mustang resto-mod, at skyway classics. The 2+2 mustang fastback is painted in a smooth red/orange color (rangoon red is the original color) in a 2-stage paint. All the lines of this mustang are great and straight as an arrow. It has a set of racing stripes from front to the rear, a shelby hood scoop, side louvers, fog lights, and even a 302 engine emblem to match the 302 engine in the mustang. This is an original c code 289 mustang that now has a modified 302 v8 4 barrel, it has a host of high performance engine mods including carb, aluminum intake, billet aluminum performance valve covers, high performance distributor ignition and spark plug wires, and much more. The optional "pony interior" of this 65 has black bucket seats with a console, sport steering wheel, 5 speed manual transmission shifter, ps, pb, fold down rear seat, gt gauges, am/fm cassette player, floor mats, seat belts, and is immaculate. This mustang rides so well because it is equipped with black chrome custom mag wheels w/3-point spinners on performance tires, performance suspension upgrades and shocks, traction bars, and sway bars. Availability this 1965 resto-mod mustang we have is clean underneath, sounds great and run great. Don't miss out on this classic ride we have at skyway classics. Skywayclassics. Com/blog. The world had caught mustang fever after the introduction of the 1964 1/2 model, and ford was working double time to try and keep up with demand. The factory in dearborn, michigan pumped out a whopping 607,568 mustangs between august of 1965 and july of 1966. Features & options the one we have here at skyway classics is a rare 1st generation 1965 yellow mustang convertible, only 1,700 miles since a meticulous restoration was completed.
